Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1935664A1] The document e.g. identity card (20), has identification information i.e. personalization information, presented in the form of an inversed or negative image (12') i.e. photograph, of another identification information that is presented in the form of positive image (12). The images are printed on a surface of the document, in a side by side manner. The images are formed on an inner surface of a document constitution layer such that the information are invisible to an eye, where the layer is made of polycarbonate comprising carbon particles. An independent claim is also included for a method of securing an identification document.
