Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2095846A1] The safety device (1) has a C-shaped rigid body (3), in which two pulleys (4,5) are stored in a pivoted manner, where the pulleys roll in an operation of the safety device on a rope (2). An opening section is arranged laterally at the rigid body for hanging up the safety device on the rope. A lockable safety mechanism (8) is provided, which moves while locking a safety roll on one of the pulleys.
