Abstract (en)
The device has a cage (20) rigidly fixed on a reinforcement element i.e. lock striker fixation reinforcement (11), of a body of a motor vehicle. The cage has contours separating fixation zones (26) that fix the cage on the element, from fixation zones (27), where the zones (27) fix the element on the vehicle body. The zones (27) are positioned along an axis (A) of a fixation screw (4) that fixes a lock striker on a plate (30) so as to reinforce mechanical characteristics of the body at the time of damaging during closing of an opening e.g. right rear door, of the vehicle.

Le dispositif est constitué par une cage (20), fixée rigidement sur un élément de renfort (11) de la caisse du véhicule, et une romaine (30) susceptible d'être positionnée par rapport à la cage (20) et reliée à la gâche par des moyens de fixation (4). La cage (20) présente, à sa partie inférieure et à sa partie supérieure, un contour permettant de séparer les zones de fixation (26) de la cage (20) sur ledit élément de renfort (11) des zones de fixation (27) dudit élément de renfort (11) sur la caisse du véhicule, lesdites zones de fixation (27) dudit élément de renfort (11) sur la caisse étant sensiblement dans l'axe (A) des moyens de fixation (4) de la gâche sur la romaine (30), de façon à renforcer la tenue mécanique de la caisse lors du claquage à la fermeture de l'ouvrant.
