[origin: EP2096657A1] The device (1) has an overvoltage limiter (2) connected to a thermal disconnector (9) that is disabled when an electric arc is switched between connection electrodes (40, 50). Disjunction of the disconnector is realized when the electric arc is crossed by short-circuit continuous or alternating electric currents having energy below releasing energetic threshold, where the releasing energetic threshold corresponds to threshold beyond which electric current of lightning waves cause permanent opening of electric contacts (30, 31) of a disconnection device (3).
