[origin: WO2008064795A1] The invention relates to a stackable chair comprising a frame which connects each front leg (2) to a respective back leg (3) by means of a lateral part (4), and a seat that can be fixed to two lateral parts of the frame, each of the lateral parts (4) comprising a passage (12) extending below the seat and having an inlet section (62) and an outlet section (63) for inserting an insertable body (64) in a lockable manner. An abutment (65) is provided on the inlet section of the passage, for a head section of the insertable body that can be designed with a selectable function and protrudes past the lateral part, and the insertable body comprises, on the end (67) thereof opposite to the head section, an engaging element (36) that can be accessed in the outlet section for a pulling device (39), for pulling the insertable body in relation to the abutment into a detachable locking position.
