[origin: DE102006051530A1] A method for the production of detergent or cleaner tablets involves (a) placing a first particulate composition (A) in the female mold of a tablet press and (b) pressing this composition (A) with a molding die which has at least one cavity on its pressing surface. Independent claims are included for (1) detergent or cleaner tablets as above with a bulge on the single-phase upper side (2) formed detergent or cleaner tablets in which the base tablet contains a polymer compound or enzyme granules (3) detergent or cleaner tablets with upper and lower sides joined together by a side face, in which the tablet matrix shows a heterogeneous density distribution such that the density within a phase decreases from the side edge of the tablet to the center in at least one cutting plane parallel to the underside of the tablet .
