[origin: WO2008081281A1] A control system of an internal combustion engine (1) includes: pressure detecting means (30) for detecting a pressure in a gas passage which is communicated with the engine (1); and control means (40) for acquiring a reference pressure as the pressure which is detected immediately after the control means (40) is actuated, and controlling an actuator of the engine (1) based on the reference pressure. The control means (40) is inhibited from acquiring the reference pressure as the detected pressure when the control means (40) is re-actuated after the control means (40) is reset due to a factor other than a turned-off operation of an ignition switch.
