According to said method, the prototype is stored in the form of electronically readable prototype data (8), and indiv idual pattern data (14, 16, 18) is produced from the prototype data by elect ronic data processing. The individual pattern data is modified in relation t o the prototype data such that the individual patterns differ from the proto type and from each other in such a way that they are also generically specif ic patterns.
