[origin: EP2098380A2] The method involves synchronizing a color and profile of metallic surface areas (8, 10) through which a wooden material plate i.e. high-density fiber board plate (12), is guided between a profiled decorative roller (4) and a backing roll (6). The roller is heated at a temperature of 200 degree Celsius, and pressure from 10 bar to 200 bar is executed at the roller. A gap is suspended between the decorative roller and the backing roll, where the gap is larger than thickness of the wooden material plate. The surface area of the wooden material plate is colored with pigments. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a wooden material plate, comprising a decorative roller.
