Abstract (en)
The assembly has a rectangular glass roof with a chassis pivotably mounted in a fixed opening frame, where the chassis and the frame are constituted of rectilinear plastic/metallic profile segments (5, 25). A sealing unit is constituted of a tubular elastic sealing joint (29) and a lower strip (14), and a locking unit is constituted of spring blocks (18, 19) and a stop bar, to lock the chassis with respect to the frame. A position of a pivoting axis (13) is fixed and symmetric with respect to the frame. The units permit the pivoting of the roof at an angle of 180 degrees, in unlocked position.

Pour faire pivoter le châssis (3) muni des plaques de verre (2a et 2b) autour de son axe de pivotement (13) dans le cadre d'embrasure (1), il faut presser sur la lame mobile (14) placée au bas du cadre et amorcer le mouvement de pivotement dans un sens ou dans l'autre, après avoir déverrouillé les blocs à ressorts (20) soutenant les lames (14) de couverture des gorges (6, 6, 8) des profilés (5) verticaux du cadre (1). Le joint (29) à profil en U soulève légèrement la lamelle (31) et la lame de couverture (14) du profilé (5) supérieur du cadre (1), ce qui permet de poursuivre le pivotement jusqu'à ce que, si la lame (14) inférieure a été libérée entre temps, le rebord (32) de l'aile (28) du profilé (25) inférieur du châssis (3) vienne buter contre le bord marginal (14a) de cette lame en même temps que la lamelle à arête (31) s'engage dans l'ouverture du joint (29) en U du profilé (25) supérieur.
