[origin: WO2008064737A1] The invention relates to the use of a composition as a preventive temporary fire protection agent, said composition containing: between 2.0 wt. % and 23 wt. %, preferably between 2.0 wt. % and 15 wt. %, especially between 3.0 wt. % and 14.5 wt. %, of diammonium hydrogen phosphate; between 1.0 wt. % and 17 wt. %, preferably 1.0 wt. % and 10 wt. %, especially between 1.0 wt. % and 2.5 wt. % of urea; and between 60 wt. % and 97 wt. %, preferably between 75 wt. % and 97 wt. %, especially between 83 wt. % and 96 wt. % of water. The invention also relates to the application of said composition and to the production and use thereof as a preventive protection agent for checking forest fires and steppe fires.
