[origin: WO2008068084A2] Disclosed is a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, comprising a housing (1) and a control valve (5) which allows a control chamber (15) to be connected to a leakage oil chamber (40). The control valve (5) encompasses a valve body (25) and a control sleeve (32) that can be moved by means of a solenoid (37). The control sleeve (32) delimits, in a radially external direction, an annular space (30) that is connected to the control chamber (32). The control sleeve (32) cooperates with a valve seat (42) formed on the valve body (25) in order to open and close a cross-section that connects the annular space (30) to the leakage oil chamber (40). The control sleeve (32) has an external cylindrical section (49) which lies opposite an internal cylindrical section (48) on the valve body (25) when the control sleeve (32) rests on the valve seat (42) such that a throttling gap (50) is formed between the external cylindrical section (49) of the control sleeve (32) and the internal cylindrical section (48) of the valve body (25).
