Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2910075A1] The engine has an electronic engine control module (ECU) comprising a management system to manage a spark advance. A determination unit determines molecular structure of fuel supplied to the engine, and permits to obtain markers (c1, c2) of the structure by using a fuel sensor (FS). The management system adjusts a value of angle of the spark advance from the markers of the structure. The markers are related or correlated with a self-ignition delay of the fuel.
