Abstract (en)
The device has a code headlight producing a light beam with a cut-off, and a complementary headlight (3) combined with the cut-off light beam to produce a route beam when the headlight (3) is ignited. The headlight (3) is constituted by a light source formed by a LED (7), a lens (9) and a mirror (13) that recovers a part of a luminous flux of the source. The lens is non-stigmatic and generates a large beam corresponding to a light band at a low cut-off with a reduced height while the mirror provides light in a central zone, above the band of the lens.

Dispositif d'éclairage, pour véhicule automobile, comportant un projecteur code propre à donner un faisceau lumineux à coupure, et un projecteur complémentaire (3) qui, lorsqu'il est allumé, se combine avec le faisceau code pour donner un faisceau route, le projecteur complémentaire comprenant au moins une source lumineuse constituée par au moins une diode électroluminescente (7), au moins une lentille (9) et au moins un miroir (13) pour récupérer une partie du flux lumineux de la source; la lentille (9) du projecteur complémentaire (3) est non stigmatique et est déterminée pour engendrer un faisceau large, à coupure basse relativement nette, et de hauteur réduite, tandis que le miroir (13) est déterminé pour fournir de la lumière au moins dans la zone centrale , au-dessus du faisceau large de la lentille.
