[origin: GB2444703A] A wound dressing comprising a conductive dressing (3) for application to a wound site and a compression bandage (2) for application over the conductive dressing (3) is disclosed. The conductive dressing (3) includes an insulator (7) for electrically isolating the conductive dressing (3) from the compression bandage (2) when in use and an insulated lead (6) for connection to a first terminal of a power source and the compression bandage including an electrically conductive portion (5) connectable to a second terminal of the power source.
