[origin: WO2008077730A2] Disclosed are devices comprising several spaced-apart storage compartments. In a first embodiment, at least one printing forme that is to be removed from a printing cylinder of a rotary press or a printing forme that is to be fed onto the printing cylinder is or can at least be stored in the respective storage compartment. At least one positioning means adjusts at least one mouth region of at least two of the storage compartments to the same spatial position relative to the printing cylinder at different points in time in the operating state of said storage compartments in which the same rest against the printing cylinder, the mouth region facing the printing cylinder. In a second embodiment, at least one printing forme that is to be removed from the printing cylinder can be stored in at least one storage compartment, at least one conveying apparatus being provided which comprises an entraining mechanism gripping the printing forme that is to be removed, and/or a printing forme that is to be fed to said printing cylinder is stored in at least one other storage compartment, at least one advancing mechanism being provided which comprises a slider gripping the printing forme that is to be fed. A positioning means lifts the respective storage compartment relative to the entraining mechanism and/or the slider or lowers the entraining mechanism and/or the slider relative to the respective storage compartment.
