[origin: WO2008071250A1] The invention relates to a device and method for fixing planar elements to a support construction in particular a spaceframe. The device comprises at least one baseplate (20) fixed or for fixing to the support construction (10). At least one first planar element and at least one second planar element are at least partly applied to or may be applied to said baseplate (20). The device further comprises at least one retainer device (21) arranged on the baseplate (20) for fixing the planar element to the baseplate (20). The retainer device (21) itself comprises a rotary lock (22), designed for fixing the first planar element and the second planar element. In the first position of the rotary lock (22), the first planar element may be applied to the baseplate (20), in a second position of the rotary lock (22), the first planar element is fixed to the baseplate (20) and the second planar element may be applied to the baseplate (20) and in a third position of the rotary lock (22) the first planar element and the second planar element are fixed to the baseplate (20). According to the method, the rotary lock (22) is firstly in the first position thereof or brought into the first position thereof. The first planar element is then applied to the baseplate, the rotary lock (22) is then brought into the second position thereof to fix the first planar element, the second planar element is then applied to the baseplate (20) and then the rotary lock (22) is then brought into the third position thereof to fix the first planar element and the second planar element.
