[origin: WO2008071597A1] The invention relates to a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine comprising a pump system (5) provided an injection rail (4) and a fuel tank (6), with at least one actuator (9) the opening of which is controlled by a signal of the pulse modulation type, in order to carry out successive adjustments of the opening of said actuator using a control magnitude depending on a cycle ratio setpoint (RCO), and an electronic control unit (11). The electronic control unit further includes auxiliary means (42) for increasing the amplitude of the oscillations of said control magnitude about an average value if the value of said cycle ratio setpoint is comprised in a given critical zone.
