[origin: WO2008074498A1] A flat gasket (1), particularly for use in an axial piston machine, consists of a substantially plate-like basic body (2) which corresponds substantially to the contour (9) of a valve housing which is to be connected thereto, is provided with a plurality of first passage boreholes (3) which are surrounded in each case by, in each case, a first peripheral, gutter-shaped depression (4). A second peripheral, gutter-shaped depression (5) is provided on the plate-like basic body (2) which surrounds all of the first peripheral, gutter-shaped depressions (4).
