Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008068089A1] The invention relates to a routing method and an arrangement for carrying out such a method as well as to a corresponding computer program and a corresponding processor-readable storage medium, which can be used, in particular, in conjunction with a navigation system in order to provide a user (motorist or pedestrian, cyclist, etc.) with comprehensive information with regard to route planning and to provide him with corresponding decision possibilities. For this purpose, provision is made for motor vehicles to be guided using a vehicle navigation system, wherein manoeuvre and/or orientation recommendations for at least two routes are output by the vehicle navigation system, and this is also the case for mobile non-vehicle systems.
