[origin: EP2103422A2] The press has a press area filled with a collecting material from a filling opening and including a press outlet that is connectable with the collecting container. A press piston (10) is arranged in the outlet in the press area and moved away to and from the outlet. A drive device is provided for driving the piston. The piston has a front side (22) that is turned to the outlet and curved concave. A concave curve of the front side is formed in such a manner that a lower edge section (24) of the front side projects opposite to a middle section (25) of the front side in a pressing direction.
