[origin: EP2103565A1] The apparatus has a barrel cooling device including a Peltier effect thermoelectric system (13) with a circular arc shaped cold surface (14) provided in thermal contact with a barrel (10) of an enclosure (2). The device has a removable coolant element (20) that is provided in thermal contact with the barrel and provided with a protrusion i.e. interchangeable insert. The enclosure has an inner wall (16) provided with an opening that receives the cold surface. The inner wall has a receiving zone (18) that receives the coolant element and is arranged opposite to the cold surface.
