The pigments of the optically variable color of the safety features are irreversibly changed in a partition (6) by an electromagnetic radiation (5). The interference effect is visually or automatically changed in the partition. The internal reflection layer consists of aluminum. One of the dielectric layers has silicon dioxide. The outer partially transmitting layers have chromium and/or nickel. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a substrate with a safety feature.
