[origin: DE102006055316B3] An assembly for the recovery of cellulose fibers from a suspension of recycled paper has an upright housing (1) with a sieve (3) separating the recovery chamber (2) from the drum (1). A rotor (4) turns in close proximity to the sieve (3), keeping it free of deposits and generating a flow of suspended solids. The cylinder main section (7) is inclined at an angle of between 5 and 25 degrees to the rotor axis (12). The main section (7) occupies at least half the volume within the housing (1). The rotor axis is at an angle of between 10 and 20 degrees to the vertical. Also claimed is the use of the sieve for the recovery of paper fibers.
