Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1936384A1] The needle (1) has a closed tip, and lateral holes arranged in a zone that is situated from an adsorbent material (2) e.g. quartz wool, towards a direction of the closed tip. The material is constituted by a set of non connected particles, where the diameter of the holes is dimensioned so as to retain the particles in the needle. A retaining unit e.g. baffle, retains the material at the proximal side of the needle. A groove is arranged toward the tip. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a hollow needle.
