Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2910979A1] The device has a compact optical component i.e. compact prism (32), with a plate made of material transparent to a monochromatic incident light beam (34), where the plate has parallel and plane faces (36, 38). A third plane face (40) of the plate forms a dihedron with one of the parallel and plane faces. An angle of the dihedron is equal to pi - truncation angle (alpha) of the plate, which ranges between 0 to arcsin (1 V n), where n is refractive index of the material. The third plane face is made reflective with respect to the light beam.
