The filter comprises a filter cover (1), a cylindrical filter insert and an end plate (2), which is arranged at the front side of the filter insert, which is connected with a front side end of the filter cover. The end plate is formed such that it overlaps the end of the filter cover, and a locking unit is provided for connecting the end plate and the filter cover in a form-fit manner.

Ein Filter besteht aus einem Filtertopf (1) und einem darin aufgenommenen im Wesentlichen zylindrischen Filtereinsatz (15) sowie einer stirnseitig am Filtereinsatz (15) angeordneten Endscheibe (2), die mit einem stirnseitigen Ende (4) des Filtertopfes (1) verbunden ist. Die Endscheibe (2) ist an ihrem Umfangsrand derart gestaltet , dass sie das Ende (4) des Filtertopfes (1) übergreift und es sind Rastmittel zum formschlüssigen Verbinden von Endscheibe (2) und Filtertopf (1) vorgesehen.
