The aim of the invention is to treat containers in such a way that they can be transported in a more reliable manner, the interactions of the containers being reduced. To this end, following the blow moulding process, the containers are treated in such a way as to reduce and/or equalise electrostatic surface charges and/or to reduce the surface friction.
