[origin: WO2008080392A2] The invention provides various aspects of an improvement of winding carriers. The proposed winding carrier enables for the first time to arrange both the thread reserve and the thread end reserve on a winding carrier such that they are protected when putting the bobbins together, yet easily accessible after the bobbins have been taken apart. Simultaneously the thread windings of two wound winding carriers come to rest at each other in a practically direct manner.
