Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009043420A1] The invention relates to a safety closure for doors or hatches disposed on a vehicle, particularly a motor home or camping trailer, comprising a closure housing (11) attached to a part that is fixed to the vehicle. A locking shaft (22) carrying a locking tongue (28) on the free end thereof is disposed in said housing in a rotatable fashion by means of an operating handle (15) between a closed position and an open position for the door or hatch. The locking shaft (22) is part of a three-phase voltage closure, wherein the locking shaft (22) is displaced by an axial distance in the rotational movement thereof between an open position and a closed position, and wherein the operating handle (15), which is lockable via a cylinder lock (19) is disposed in a movable fashion relative to the locking shaft (22) and is disposed to be axially displaceable between a locked position established in a form fit with a housing part (25) attached to the exterior of the door or hatch and an operating position protruding from the housing part (35).
