[origin: WO2008080610A1] Body protection armor for the shoulder joint area, consisting of multiple armored plates, made of light metals in particular, shaped to fit the body and connected together by joints, with a shoulder cap and a shoulder joint cap hinge-connected thereto at the distal end. Said shoulder cap shaped to fit the body is constructed of two parts and comprises a base part shaped to fit the body close to the neck for hinge-connecting at least one additional frontal and/or rear cap and a supplementary part shaped to fit the body and away from the neck for hinge-connecting the shoulder joint cap, and the supplementary part can be rotated relative to the base part essentially along the shaped surface of the two parts.
