Abstract (en)
The device has a closed transport channel (8) provided with an inlet (8a) and an outlet (8b), and a filter tow (6) guided from the inlet to the outlet. A traction relief device (40) is provided for traction relief of the filter tow in a region of the outlet, and arranged in a downstream of the outlet of the transport channel. The traction relief device comprises a drive device provided with two transport rollers, where the filter tow is guidable between the transport rollers. The traction relief device includes a temporary storage device for temporarily storing the filter tow.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Transport eines Filtertows (6) von einer Filtertowquelle (2) zu einer Maschine zur Herstellung von Filterstäben für Rauchartikel, insbesondere Zigaretten, aus dem Filtertow (6), mit einem im Wesentlichen geschlossenen Transportkanal (8), der einen Einlass (8a) und einen Auslass (8b) aufweist und durch den das Filtertow (6) vom Einlass (8a) zum Auslass (8b) führbar ist. Das Besondere der Erfindung besteht darin, dass eine Zugentlastungseinrichtung (40) zur Zugentlastung des Filtertow (6) im Bereich des Auslasses (8b) vorgesehen ist.
