The wheelchair has guidable front wheels (2) mounted to a rigid chassis framework (1), where a connecting element (3) is rotatably mounted laterally to a back end region of the chassis framework. The element supports a rear wheel (4), carries a backrest rod (5) and supports a seat support rod (6). The element with the chassis framework, the seat support rod and a supporting element (7) rotatably mounted at a front region of the seat support rod and at the chassis framework that forms a four-hinge mechanism.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Starrrahmenrollstuhl mit einem starren Fahrwerksrahmen 1, an welchem lenkbare Vorderräder 2 gelagert sind, wobei an dem rückseitigen Endbereich des Fahrwerkrahmens 1 seitlich jeweils ein Verbindungelement 3 schwenkbar gelagert ist, welches ein Hinterrad 4 lagert und eine Rückenlehnenstrebe 5 trägt sowie eine Sitzstrebe 6 lagert, wobei das Verbindungselement 3 mit dem Fahrwerksrahmen 1, der Sitzstrebe 6 und einem am vorderen Bereich der Sitzstrebe 6 und an dem Fahrwerksrahmen 1 drehbar gelagerten Stützelement 7 einen Viergelenkmechanismus bildet.
