[origin: EP2106882A1] The device has an inlet for liquid carbon dioxide connected to a nozzle (2) using a double nipple (5). Another inlet (6) for carrier gas i.e. air, connects the nozzle with a jet pipe (3). An impact body (4) is attached in a nozzle body (1) downstream to an opening of the inlet (6). The impact body is formed as a flattened ball and is rotatably supported, and an adjusting device rotates the impact body. Cut surfaces interchange a module between the inlet for liquid carbon dioxide and the nozzle body, and between the nozzle body and the jet pipe. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning a surface.
