[origin: EP2106908A2] The device (10) has a dampening-unit housing (20), a spray-bar retainer (30), and a spray bar (40) that is connected to the housing via the retainer in such a manner that the spray bar is pivotable between an operating position and a servicing position. The spray bar has a degree of freedom in relation to the retainer in the servicing position so as to remove the spray bar from the retainer. The degree of freedom is taken away from the spray bar when the spray bar is pivoted into the operating position. A positioning element (50) is exchangeably mounted on the housing via a mounting region. An independent claim is also included for a method for positioning a spray bar in a dampening device of a spray-dampening unit.
