[origin: WO2008052731A2] A vacuum drum for use in container processing machines, particularly for labeling machines, comprising a drum element rotationally supported in a device rack, and being driven about a drum axis in a rotational manner, comprising at least one vacuum canal configured in the drum element, and ending in a vacuum opening, and comprising a rotational or vacuum distributor for connecting the at least one vacuum canal disposed in the drum element to a vacuum source, wherein the rotational or vacuum distributor has at least one sealing surface, and a sealing surface at a distributor element that is not rotating with the drum element.
