Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a household appliance including a closed or at least partially closed fluid system containing a running and/or stationary fluid (20) or mixture comprising the fluid. The household appliance comprises an apparatus for detecting a thermal radiation (14) with least one thermopile sensor element (10). The thermopile sensor element (10) is arranged in an inter-visibility of the fluid (20) in order to detect the thermal radiation (14) of the fluid (20). The present invention relates further to a corresponding method.
