Abstract (en)

The method involves axially sliding a tube-shaped outer sleeve (4) made of paper material on a prefabricated inner cup and attaching the outer sleeve to the inner cup (2). The tube-shaped outer sleeve is formed from a flat blank by joining ends of the blank, before sliding the sleeve on the inner cup. The ends of the blank are joined together via applying an adhesive to a limited area of the sleeve, where thermoplastic material is used as the adhesive. A hot-melt adhesive and a sealing varnish are used as the thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a double-walled cup comprising an inner cup.

Es ist ein doppelwandiger Becher (1) und ein Verfahren zum Herstellen beschrieben. Der Becher besteht aus einem Innenbecher (2) und einem hülsenförmigen Außenmantel (4), der aus einem an seinen Enden verbundenen Zuschnitt aus einem Papiermaterial gebildet ist. Der hülsenförmige Außenmantel wird axial auf einen vorgefertigten Innenbecher aufgeschoben und befestigt. Der hülsenförmige Außenmantel wird vor dem Aufschieben aus einem flachliegenden Zuschnitt (15) durch Verbinden der Enden (18,19) des Zuschnitts geformt, wobei die Enden des Zuschnitts durch einen in begrenzten Bereichen des Außenmantels aufgetragenen Klebstoff verbunden werden. Die Enden des Zuschnitts sind mit einem thermoplastischen Material als Klebstoff verbunden, dass beispielsweise ein Schmelzklebstoff oder ein Siegellack sein kann.
