Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2108720A1] The device (30) has a comb cylinder (16) rotatably supported below a gripper aggregate (1). The cylinder is provided on its periphery with a comb segment (19) and a drawing-off segment (20). A drawing-off roller (24) is fed to the drawing-off segment and is provided downstream to the device. A top comb (8) is movably supported between the aggregate and the roller. A feed roller (5) and the top comb are driven by a cam disk (KS) and a shaft (22), which are connected with a drive (A1). Drive elements of the feed roller are directly coupled with drive elements of the top comb.
