The marking tape (1) is made from a flexible material in an oblong shape and has two ends (2,3), and a depictable or printable plastic top layer (4). An adhesive layer (6) is arranged under top layer, beneath which a base layer (8) is arranged. The base layer do not extends to an end of marking tape and exposed adhesive (9) is covered with a removable cover (10) in that end of the marking tape.

Ein Kennzeichnungsband (1) aus flexiblem Material und mit einer länglichen Grundform mit einem ersten Ende (2) und einem zweiten Ende (3) weist eine beschreib- und/oder bedruckbare Decklage (4) aus Kunststoff, eine darunter angeordnete Klebstoffschicht (6) und eine darunter angeordnete Basislage (8) aus Kunststoff auf. Die Basislage (8) erstreckt sich nicht bis zum zweiten Ende (3) des Kennzeichnungsbandes (1). Im Bereich des zweiten Endes (3) des Kennzeichnungsbandes (1) exponierter Klebstoff (9) ist mit einer abziehbaren Abdeckung (10) abgedeckt.
