[origin: EP2110164A1] The method involves forming a carrier structure (7) that is made of plastic material with initial thickness (10). An additive (13) is applied to pores (9) of the structure. The structure together with the additive is reduced around a measure with a lower limit of 20 percentages and an upper limit of 40 percentages, in a heat pressing process based on the thickness. The additive is selected from the group such as oil, graphite, PTFE, quartz, gel or wax. An undercoating is applied to the structure. A background layer e.g. paint or opaque polymer layer, is applied on the undercoating. An independent claim is also included for a flat i.e. ribbon shaped, lining material for an outsole in a winter sports gear, comprising a carrier structure.
