Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2110182A2] The glue coating device has a supporting plate (25) which is provided at the both sides of a thrust bearing (5) or a glue distribution chamber (7), so that the glue (20) is removed from a glue reservoir under rotation of the supporting plate, where the glue reservoir is not contacted to the thrust bearing. The glue absorbed by the supporting plates is conveyed over, particularly internal, supply line (13) of glue distribution chamber. An independent claim is included for a method for coating glue on a material strip of the tobacco processing industry of a thrust bearing.
