Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2110230A2] The tablet press (10) has a rotor (12), and a prime mover for the rotor, where the rotor is effectively connected with a drive shaft of the prime mover. The rotor is detachably connected with the drive shaft by a clamping device (26) i.e. quick-clamping device, in a form fit and/or force fit manner. The clamping device is integrated into the rotor, and has two clamping elements (38) that are displaced from a clamping position into a release position over a dead center position. The clamping elements are arranged around a rotation axis (30) of the rotor.
