Abstract (en)
The device (1) has a stator (3) i.e. inductor, including an inductor coil (5) with windings that are arranged electrically parallel to one another, and an accelerator (19) driven in rotation by an induced rotor (2). A contactor (17) is provided with electrical contact elements, and controls supply of power only to a part of the windings in pre-rotation phase. The contactor controls the supply of power to entire windings in wide open throttle phase, where number of windings activated in the open throttle phase is two times greater than number of windings activated in the pre-rotation phase.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de démarrage pour moteur à combustion, notamment de véhicule automobile, comportant : - un stator, ou inducteur, comportant un bobinage inducteur (5), ledit bobinage inducteur comprenant au moins des premier (43), deuxième (41) et troisième (42) enroulements tous mis électriquement en parallèle, - un rotor associé audit stator, et présentant un axe longitudinal, - un lanceur pouvant être entraîné en rotation par le rotor, - un contacteur agencé pour commander, dans une première phase de pré-rotation, une alimentation électrique seulement du premier enroulement (43) du bobinage inducteur, et dans une deuxième phase de plein régime succédant à la première phase, une alimentation électrique des premier, deuxième et troisième enroulements (41, 42) du bobinage inducteur.
