[origin: WO2008086883A1] The invention relates to a boot (1) with a boot body (2), having an upper partial piece (2a) for at least partially covering the shin of a wearer and a lower partial piece (2b) for covering the foot of the wearer and with a lacing system (10), with at least one upper effective zone (11), provided for the upper partial piece (2a) of the boot body (2) and a lower effective zone (12), provided for the lower partial piece (2b) of the boot body (2). According to the invention, in particular the ease of putting on and taking off the boot (1) may be improved by means of the lacing system (10) having a single lace (13), the first end (13a) of which is fixed to the upper region of the upper effective zone (11) and the second end (13b) of which is fixed to the boot tip end of the lower effective zone (12). Furthermore, a common lace tightener (14), with a handle (14'), is provided for the upper effective zone (11) and the lower effective zone (12) of the lace system (10) which cooperates with the lace (13) such that on operating the handle (14') the upper effective zone (11) and the lower effective zone (12) of the lace system (10) are operated with regard to lacing up and opening the boot (1).
