[origin: WO2008090205A1] An armor-plated vehicle, in particular a fire truck, is characterized in that the vehicle (1) has at the disposal thereof a device with which said vehicle can be brought from driving operation to a stop by means of a mechanical, external influence originating from outside. Said device has at the disposal thereof at least one mechanically operated trigger element (3) which is arranged on the outside of the vehicle (1), and said trigger element (3) brings the vehicle to a stop if said trigger element is operated or destroyed by acting directly or indirectly on at least one device (8) necessary for the driving operation of the vehicle (1).
