Abstract (en)
A collapsible conveyer apparatus comprises at least one carrier accommodated on a windowsill of a building and serving as a window grille in a collapsed state. If necessary, the carrier is unfolded by a push rod device and is descended slowly along an outer wall of the building by a drive mechanism for conveying personnel or commodities. In the event of a fire accident, personnel or precious commodities can be immediately evacuated from the building. Even in case of power failure caused by the fire accident, the drive mechanism can be operated by spare electricity or manually operated.
