Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a device (1) for applying a protective layer, such as a paint layer. The layer must be applied to at least one elongate object (3) for protecting. This object can be a bar or pipe, such as a heating pipe in a glasshouse. The device comprises a frame (10) displaceable along the object. The device further comprises an applicator (7,8) on the frame and oriented toward the object (3) for the purpose of applying the protective layer. The applicator comprises at least two spray nozzles (7,8), each oriented toward the object while enclosing an angle.
