Abstract (en)

The curtain coating unit comprises a coating head (1A, 1B) arranged above running paper-, cardboard- or other fiber material web (w), and a guiding plate (B) obliquely directed downwards in curtain (c1, c2), where the coating head pours off the coating medium directed downwards in the form of the curtain. The guiding plate absorbs curtain coating medium from the coating head directed downwards at its slope as coating layer (r1, r2), lets flow along the slope from its lower end and curtain guidance directed downwards and exists on the surface of the fiber web. The curtain coating unit comprises a coating head (1A, 1B) arranged above running paper-, cardboard- or other fiber material web (w), and a guiding plate (B) obliquely directed downwards in curtain (c1, c2), where the coating head pours off the coating medium directed downwards in the form of the curtain. The guiding plate absorbs curtain coating medium from the coating head directed downwards at its slope as coating layer (r1, r2), allows to flow along the slope from its lower end and curtain guidance directed downwards and exists on the surface of the fiber web. The guiding plate has an upper end at which the coating head directed downwards is arranged, which absorbs the coating medium. The guiding plate lets flow as first and/or lower coating layer along the slope of the guiding plate. An edge guide relocatable in breadth direction of the guiding plate is intended at the margin of the guiding plate and adjoins with its lower side at the slope of the guiding plate. Both edge guides coming from its interior areas determine the measure of the output width of the curtain from the coating head directed downwards and the coating head directed towards top so that the output width of the coating layer coincides. The measure of the coating width is adjustable. The height of the edge guide changes itself along the slope of the guiding plate in such a way that the top of the edge guide leans itself at the lower side of the coating head directed downwards, and the height of the curtain is adjustable from the coating head directed downwards through the movement of the coating head along the top of the edge guide. The coating head is adjustable in the height and in the position to the running direction of the fiber material web.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Vorhang-Auftragswerk zum mehrschichtigen Auftragen mindestens eines flüssigen bis pastösen Auftragsmediums auf eine laufende Papier-, Karton- oder andere Faserstoffbahn (w), das mindestens einen oberhalb der Faserstoffbahn (w) angeordneten Auftragskopf (1A, 1B) aufweist, wobei der mindestens eine Auftragskopf (1A, 1 B) das Auftragsmedium nach unten gerichtet in Form jeweils eines Vorhangs (c1, c2) abgibt, sowie aufweisend eine im Fallweg des mindestens einen Vorhangs (c1,c2) schräg nach unten gerichtete Führungsplatte (B), wobei die Führungsplatte (B) den mindestens einen Auftragsmediums-Vorhang (c1, c2 vom mindestens einen nach unten gerichteten Auftragskopf (1A, 1B) auf ihrer Schräge (Ba) als Auftragsschicht (r1, r2) aufnimmt und entlang der Schräge (Ba) von ihrem unteren Ende (Bc) und einer nach unten gerichteten Vorhangführung (Bb) aus nach unten fließen lässt und auf die Oberfläche der Faserstoffbahn (w) aufbringt. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Führungsplatte (B) ein oberes Ende (Bd) aufweist, an der ein nach oben gerichteter Auftragskopf (1 C) angeordnet ist, welcher Auftragsmedium nach oben hin gerichtet ausgibt und es als erste bzw. untere Auftragsschicht (r0) entlang der Schräge (Ba) der Führungsplatte (B) fließen lässt.
