Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2112258A2] The device (24) has a bobbin holder (19) rotatably holding and winding a warpable roving (15) on a roving bobbin (12). A changing device (11) transfers the roving to be wound on the roving bobbin. The changing device includes an upper roller (17) and a lower roller (18) with a clamping line (20), where the roving is guidably clamped through the clamping line. The rollers are drivingly arranged immediately before the bobbin and are changeable in a bobbin axial direction (16). The changing device changes the roving in the clamping line in the bobbin axial direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing a warpable roving comprising a stretching unit (2) a method for producing a roving using a warpable production device.
